Oppdal IL was one of 23 clubs from Norway that had teams playing during GFK Cup 2018. They participated with four teams in Jentelag født 2008 7'er and Jentelag født 2005 7'er respectively. The team in Jentelag født 2005 7'er made it to the the Final in Slutspel B, but lost it against Sokna IL by 0-1.
In addition to this, Oppdal IL have participated in GFK Cup before. During GFK Cup 2017, Oppdal had 11 teams playing in Guttelag født 2009 (3v3), Jentelag født 2008 (3v3) and Jentelag født 2009 (3v3) respectively. Oppdal comes from OPPDAL which lies approximately 70 km from Lundamo, where GFK Cup takes place.
